Terms of Service
Rules and expectations for using our website and registering for STEAM Learning Station programs.
Effective Date: January 8, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the STEAM Learning Station website and any registration, events, programs, camps, or after-school offerings we provide (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
1) Eligibility & Parent/Guardian Responsibility
Our Services are intended for parents/guardians to review and register children. By registering a child, you confirm you are the child’s parent/guardian or have legal authorization to register them and agree to these Terms on their behalf.
2) Registration, Payments, and Cancellations
- Registration: Program registration is first-come, first-served unless otherwise stated.
- Accurate information: You agree to provide accurate contact, emergency, and participant information.
- Payments: If fees apply, payments are processed through a third-party provider. Any applicable taxes/fees may be added at checkout.
- Cancellations/Refunds: Refund and cancellation rules may vary by program and will be provided on the registration page or event listing. If you do not see them, contact us before registering.
3) Participant Expectations & Conduct
We want every child to feel safe and supported. Participants are expected to follow staff directions and respect others and the space.
- Respect staff, peers, and equipment/materials.
- No bullying, harassment, or unsafe behavior.
- We may contact a parent/guardian for early pickup if a participant cannot follow safety expectations.
4) Health, Allergies, and Medical/Emergency Situations
Parents/guardians are responsible for disclosing relevant health information, allergies, and emergency contacts during registration. In an emergency, we may seek medical assistance and contact you using the information provided.
5) Photos, Video, and Media (Optional)
We may take photos or videos during programs to share camp highlights. If you prefer your child not be photographed/recorded, please notify us in writing. Any media consent details may also be provided during registration.
6) Intellectual Property
Website content (text, graphics, logos, and design) is owned by STEAM Learning Station or used with permission and may not be copied or reused without permission. Children generally keep ownership of the projects they create, unless a specific activity states otherwise.
7) Third-Party Tools and Event Listings
We may use third-party services (such as event calendars, forms, registration tools, or payment processors). Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
8) Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” While we work hard to provide high-quality programming, we do not guarantee that the website will always be error-free or uninterrupted.
9) Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, STEAM Learning Station will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so these may not apply to you.
10) Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
